Today was our first time coming to Horizon Senior Home! It was amazing being able to meet and talk with the ladies! Many of them read poetry when they were in school, but hadn’t really picked it up since then, so it was exciting to read them some poems. We had some great discussions about some older poets, like Edgar Allen Poe, who they had read poetry from before.
